Beverly Margolies leads Boot-Up with over fifteen years of experience in the computer software industry, as a systems analyst, and technical support rep. She recently earned her Masters Degree in Educational Technology from NJCU.  As a NJ State Certified Math Teacher she taught high school Algebra (I & II) and Geometry for four years; most recently at Passaic County Tech in Wayne, NJ.  

Her teaching career began in 1995, at Chubb Computer Services.  During her 5 years at Chubb, she taught and developed curriculum for a variety of Computer classes;
including

• Web Design - HTML, JavaScript
  
• Computer Networking - TCP/IP
  
• Relational Database Design - SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle, MS-Access
  
• UNIX, Windows NT - admin, tools, Shell, awk
  

She earned multiple certifications including Microsoft and Comptia Certified Technical Trainer titles. 

Her goal is to empower other Math teachers to teach with web technology through her professional development seminars and curriculum materials.  Math teachers need the proper materials and training to integrate technology and the Internet into their lessons.
